| A maximum of ten youth are awarded the Silver Merit Award per year. The Silver Award is a $750 scholarship to the university of the recipient's choice. The Silver Award is the American Simmental-Simbrah Foundation's second highest honor given to the AJSA's youth. It is funded by tax-deductible donations made by producers around the country.
