Interview Contest

The Interview Contest offers participants the opportunity to prepare an effective résumé and cover letter and to enhance their interview skills in a live mock interview.

*This contest does not count toward the Overall competition.

Eligibility: Contestants must be 15-21 years old as of January 1, 2024, and must be entered at the 2024 AJSA National Classic in order to compete.

Materials: Contestants must provide a cover letter, résumé, and position description for a job of his/her choice within the agriculture industry.

Scoring: Scoring will be based on: Interview (50%), Résumé (25%), and Cover Letter (25%). Scholarships will be awarded to the contest winner and runner-up during the National Classic awards banquet.
